• When I try to add a new post, the toolbar that allows you to make links, bold/italic the text, etc. is missing. The only button that I see is one that says “Add Media”.

    Also, I can not use the “Visual” mode to add a new post. I click on the Visual Button and nothing happens. It just stays in text mode.

    Also, I’m not sure if it’s related or not but when I edit my posts and then click “update”, my edits don’t stick. It “updates” to the same thing it was before.

    I’ve been using wordpress for about a year now and the trouble started on January 1st 2013. Everything was fine before that.

    Open wp-config.php and try adding the following line before “That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging” Add this to your wp-config file (not the best solution, but now you may be able to use admin again): define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);

    I am having the same problem with the toolbar and not sure why.
    I have tried to deactivate all plugins and all this other stuff people try saying to do. to me it seems as if the actual toolbar code or snippet is missing or something

    any ideas? Is there a 3rd party plugin i can install to add another toolbar?

    @andrewpina… As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. Posting in an existing topic prevents from being able to track issues by topic. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Also, It’s easier for volunteers to help you if you have your own topic ??
