Reduce the levels of parent pages

  • How can I reduce the levels of parent pages? I have a a-z section with a lot of pages which all have children pages

    When clicking onto these pages it shows the bhioldren pages but still all the pages in the original A-Z therefor the menu is very long. Once you click into one of the child pages it only shows the main parent page and its children and menu is reduced

    Basically looks like the parent levels to show needs reduced by 1?

    Oh only strictly related sub page is ticked but it still shows a couple of levels or parent pages
