You will need to upload the content of it using FTP or SCP into the directory noted in the FAQ.

I uploaded the plugin using filezilla but could not avtivate it. I get the following error:

Fatal error: Class ‘AWPCP_Settings_API’ not found in /home/productr/public_html/freeads/wp-content/plugins/classifieds/awpcp.php on line 170

Is there a simpley way of installing this plugin?

For me, I got this message because space had run out on the server.

Hi Shakes72, You can try to download the plugin then unzip on your computer. And login your hosting via FTP client(FileZilla) then upload the extracted file to https://yoursite.com//wp-content/plugins

Then go to wp-admin(dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins. Then find your plugin that you uploaded now and activate it.

Hi, I think this is mostly caused by the .zip file (mainly not reaching the end of the archive) or possibly server space.
I recommend you check your plugins first if the files are not corrupt is so download new copies
