Regarding Robots.txt file

Hello ,

I just made 2 blogs . and i don not want that search engine crewel my plugin and themes folder so i created a robets.txt file upload it by ftp . but when i type my https://theopenion.info/robots.txt then i can’t find out the file which i have uploaded . Basically i have shared hosting and the info blog is an addon domain . so where should i list that file on the root folder or inside the /theopenion.info folder . please let me know i am very much confused. and yes i am also using the xml sitemap generator plugin .. i have uploaded the file on the root but there is no alteration on this also https://theopenion.com/robots.txt and this file is not in the ftp where do i find out this file..?
