Can't order thumbnails in new media uploader

Hi,

I use wordpress as a portfolio to showcase my work online, using predominantly photographs.

With the previous media uploader, there was a section where I was able to edit and importantly *order* the media belonging on a portfolio page. I could easily upload a certain number of images, get them into the order I wanted and then hit the ‘insert thumbnails’ button to get the images into the post.

Now I can still upload pictures, change their titles, sizes, etc, can still insert thumbnails, but nothing I do seems to influence the order in which the thumbnails are displayed on the page.

I’m pretty sure it’s a wordpress issue and not anything to do with my theme. Can anyone tell me if there’s something I’m not doing right?
