Subtitle as excerpt?

    Am not sure what you mean by posts’ subtitles. Could you please explain

    Thanks for the quick reply and apologies for not being more clear.

    I’ve created a custom field for my posts that I’ve title “subtitle”. It’s essentially a secondary heading.

    What I’m trying to emulate is the related posts area seen on this site here. It looks as though he’s using your plugin, and he’s figured out how to use his post’s subtitles as the excerpt, rather than the body copy.

    On my end, I can’t seem to figure out how to get the plugin to output my custom field data rather than the stock body excerpt.

    What you could do is put that subtitle into the Excerpt of the post. The plugin doesn’t support custom field data for the excerpt at this stage.

    You might need to manually edit the code of the plugin to get it to work with custom fields.
