Hello my name is Ellis. I was hoping if someone could assist me with a problem I’m having on my wordpress based website. I’m currently using the WordPress City Desk theme which supports 2 auto rotating sliders. About two days ago they completely stopped working. I thought it might have been an accidental change in options to disable the auto rotate option but it remains enabled. I also discovered that I cannot scroll through posts that are beside the main slider. On top of all that the mid page slider seems to have half of the picture of a post cut out underneath it that’s not supposed to be there. I’ve also already tried disabling all my plugins but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

To have a better understanding you can visualize these errors on my website: https://www.enlacosa.com

I would appreciate any feedback if possible. I really don’t know what the error could possibly be.

    Thank you

  • Sorry, but you’re using a premium/paid theme. It’s best to go to the support site where you bought the theme https://forums.gabfirethemes.com/forum.php for help with issues. These forums are for themes available in the WordPress theme directory at www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/.

I can see 3 javascript errors, so there may be a conflict between the theme and WP 3.5 or a plugin.

Ok thanks a lot. It actually turns out that it’s a major problem that’s occurring to others as well. They have a whole thread open for it. This is what support says:

The most recent jQuery update caused a conflict for sliders of all our themes. This also taught us a good lesson of not using Google CDN and to go along with the jQuery that’s included in WordPress.

If you are having a problem on your site and would like to fix it; download the latest version of your theme at dashboard.gabfirethemes.com and update your theme.

Thanks a lot for your help!
