• First let me say I love Hungryfeed as a simple way to get a feed into my WordPress site.

I do keep seeing that you can use it in a sidebar but I cannot get that particular function to work. It may be me, it may be Hungryfeed I can’t tell.

If you can give me some ideas on what I am doing wrong if anything or if there is a fix if its not me I would appreciate it.

well, it may be dependent on your particular theme whether they coded in widget support into their sidebar.

You can enable shortcodes inside widgets – on the HungryFEED settings page there is a drop-down that lets you override the default. One interesting thing is that this is a system-wide setting. So, HungryFEED lets you turn it on, but it’s also possible some other plugin gets loaded later and then turns it back off! (though I think that is unlikely)
