youtube video thumbnail as the click source to open video in fancybox

In settings -> medias, you can choose which service to use with easy fancybox, does Youtube checked ?

Check with your browser if the “fancybox” class has been correclty added to the <div> that contain your youtube embed.

Maybe you should try a plugin to embed youtube video in order to specify height/width…

Yes I have youtube checked, and its opening fine the video in tube.
I think you not got the problem right.

I already written,
“I have enabled autodetection for youtube videos in settings->media.
I have placed <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_hXhposGag">text or thumbnail</a> in a post and it working well opening video in fancybox popup.”

I just wanted instead of custom ‘text or thumbnail’ can I put the video thumbnail automatic with small play button on it, the clicking on this thumbnail will open and play the video in lightbox? Is this possible with this plugin alone or I have to use another plugin in coordination.

By the way, I have used another plugin https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/youtube-simplegallery/ that worked great automatically in coordination with easy-fancy box, when keep youtube autodetection unchecked in easy-fancybox and ‘Effect’ option to fancybox in youtube-simplegallery setting.

Could you not continue using the two together?

It would be a bit out of the scope of my plugin to go so far as facilitating an automatic gallery of Youtube thumbnails… I’d have to do that for Vimeo, Dailymotion and what not too then. But I do know that Youtube provides autogenerated thumbnails like this: Let’s take the movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBAccFPnoeg then there are at least https://i4.ytimg.com/vi/wBAccFPnoeg/mqdefault.jpg and https://i4.ytimg.com/vi/wBAccFPnoeg/default.jpg available. There might be more sizes, I don’t know. But you just have to replace that unique movie ID to get the approriate thumbnail.

Yes I said the same thing that ‘Youtube Simple Gallery’ and yours ‘Easy FancyBox’ are working great together (having settings as I already suggested), and I am continuing using both together. My job done, what I needed.
