    I believe I am having a timeout error due to a slow connection, but am not sure. This is the error I am getting in the logs and it is not preforming a backup. Is there a way to fix this?

    Use the plugin editor (in the WP admin area ‘plugins’ section) to edit the file methods/googledrive.php from the UpdraftPlus plugin. On line 293 is this:

    $this->gdocs->set_option( ‘chunk_size’, 0.2 );

    Change the 0.2 to 0.05, save, and then see if that makes any difference – let me know if it does. If it does not, turn it down to 0.01 and try again then.

    Thank you… what version do you have there?

    Really, I need to see a complete log file. Update to the latest version, then start a new backup, then leave it for a couple of hours, then paste in the whole of the latest log file.

    Hi,

    Thank you… but can you please update to the latest version of UpdraftPlus first? Various bugs have been fixed since the version you have.

    Sorry, didn’t realize that wasn’t the latest version. Upgrade seems to have fixed it.

    Thank you. If you find UpdraftPlus useful, then please make a donation – https://david.dw-perspective.org.uk/donate – there has not yet been any other source of funding for the code and support. Average $0.01 per download so far!
