Changed URL… no access to admin panel now

I just did a domain change on my WP site. It was example.net and I changed it to example.com following the documents on www.ads-software.com site. I got as far as changing the URL in the admin settings section, copied everything over.

I had it on example.net and then I set up an addon domain for example.com in my cpanel. So technically it was in the public_html/example.com so I changed it to just be public_html/ instead. Still no solution.

The site shows up, but I cannot log into the admin panel. Thoughts?
