    Hello,
    I am having several problems with my WordPress site (on bluehost).
    1) Very slow page loading (7 second average)
    2) intermittent service interruptions (site unavailable)
    Bluehost support is not helping me. They have been giving me generic information and some excuses.
    So I am digging into the problems.

    First problem i see in the error logs is this:
    [01-Feb-2013 20:58:31] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function themeblvd_get_option() in /home1/tflcarco/public_html/wp-content/themes/alyeska/index.php on line 19

    line 19 is:
    $homepage_content = themeblvd_get_option( ‘homepage_content’, null, ‘posts’ );

    Does anybody know why this error is happening?

  • You’ll need to ask the developer for help — as we don’t have access to commercial themes — and thus don’t support them.

    I’ve seen several other issues with this theme lately, so perhaps it’s a theme issue with the latest WP update?

    Actually, I see occurrences of this exact error going back to Sep 12, 2012.

    OK. I will direct this question to Alyeska theme developer.
    Thanks.

    I own a license to this theme as well. Have not experienced any of the issues you describe (as of yet, but now holding my breath). Support and developer link is here. Just sign in and make a support contact in either the FAQ or on the author contact link.
