I am creating a new website which will discuss breeds of dogs. I would like to have a Petfinders listing per breed on each page.

For instance, here is the collie page: https://nannydog.info/nanny-dog-breeds/collie/ and I would love to show a Petfinders list of available collies to the right of the rescue organization list.

If I can’t do that, is there a generic Petfinders search box I could put on the page to motivate people to search themselves?

    Hi –

Sorry, I missed this post and somehow didn’t get an email about it. You should be able to do this. You would need to find the shelter’s Petfinder ID which is in the shelter URL on Petfinder and is always the state abbreviation and a number like WI185. Then on the page put the short tag which would look like this, but with the shelter_id and breed switched with your values:

    [shelter_list shelter_id=”WI185″ breed=”Italian Greyhound”]

My plugin does need a shelter_id though and can’t list all collies for adoption on petfinder.
