Out of memory error

Hi,
As you can see in my error message, I’ve allocated a substantial amount of memory:

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 60822591 bytes) in /myblog/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-group-email-subscription/bp-activity-subscription-digest.php on line 412

but the plugin has pushed me over the limit. Is anyone else having this issue – and is it possible that the plugin could be refactored to require less memory for operations – perhaps performing its actions in batches?
