Remove search box and extend name of site

  • I figured out how to remove the search box in the header, but I can not figure out how to extend the name of my site title into the area where the search box was. It wraps, as if the search box is there. I prevented it from displaying by commenting out <?php get_search_form(); ?> in header.php.

    Any ideas for a total newbie? Thank you.

  • Try CSS change on a child theme:

    header[role=”banner”] #s, .entry-content #s {
    display: none;
    }
