Search Exact and Custom Fields

  • Hello,
    I need to put a search field on my site that only searches for the exact string inputted, pulling from a custom field. Users will be using the form to pull up a page for an exact serial number.

    For example –
    Search input: NVWP0125_P

    NVWP0125_P is the string entered for that pages custom field.

    But I don’t want users to be able to search NVWP and see results for every serial number under NVWP.

    Any idea where to start on this?
