User Opt In Option?

But for me I would like the option to restrict it to certain forums or allow the poster to decide if a notification is sent out to all users or not

Agreed. I’ve also requested it from the similar New Topic Notification plugin

I would really like to see the option to allow users to opt in which forums they would like to receive notification from i.e. only the forums that are relevant to them.

I this was available as a premium plugin i would happily pay for it.
