Post Editor Toolbar Not Right

  • My post editor toolbar shows only a simple selection with no kitchen sink button. It shows
    Bold, italic, link, b-quote, del, ins, img, ul, ol, li, code, more, lookup, close tags, fullscreen

    I am using Multisite mode
    I am using 3.5.1
    I tried removing all the plugins.

    I have looked for help on the internet but nothing. Has anyone else had this problem?

  • are you by chance in the text editor, as opposed to the visual editor? the text editor does not display the kitchen sink button.

    or do you by chance have the visual editor disabled in your user profile?

    yes, plugins can cause the prob. or have you tried activating the default twenty twelve theme? sometimes a theme can cause some oddities.

    You are right. I did in fact have the visual editor disabled. It’s all back together again and thanks very much for your help.
