Fading Out Sidebar? How?

Hi there,
thank you for reading this thread ??

I would like that when someone clicks on post titles from my home page they get on a post page where everything fades out but the post content. So that there are no distractions for the reader.

Then if they move the mouse, everything fades in again: sidebar, footer, site title…

Too fancy?
Do you guys have any idea on how this can be done?

I’m using Genesis framework, theme Eleven 40.
Oh! And by the way, I’ve got totally no clue on how to play with code, so I would love an answer that doesn’t take anything for granted if possible ??
