Media Import on Multisite only pull from admin site

Running a multisite install with nginx and varnish, from the admin dashboard I try to import all media but it only pulls from the single post hosted on the multisite main install.
The plugin ignores all the other multisite installs other than admin. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
