    EDIT: Apparently, I am worse than I thought at posting. I intended to place this in Themes thinking that the best place for my question but must have hit the how-to just above it. Sorry everyone.

    I am new to posting in forums of any kind. Hope I have the right spot for posting this. If not, I apologize in advance.

    Using WP 3.5.1 and just installed the free Pagelines theme(v1.3.5). So far, I am loving this theme but am having a problem with something I want to do.

    First, I have searched both WP forums and the pagelines forums for an existing answer but can’t seem to find it. Either that or I am just plain bad at searching. Apparently, I have to purchase an account at pagelines in order to post there.

    Anyway, I am wanting to use the boxes on the landing page only but have them disabled either on all the rest of the pages or on selected pages. Is this possible and if so, how would I go about it?

    Thanks for any help

    @kiltedfire1,

    Assuming this theme works like the PageLines Framework:

    As long as the Boxes option in the PageLines Meta Settings in the back end of an individual page is unused , i.e. the selection boxes say “-SELECT-“, that should take care of it.

    If that doesn’t work, or you want absolute control, it works like this. The PageLInes Drag & Drop feature allows you to add sections, e.g. boxes, to all pages of a particular page template. Within individual pages, one can elect to turn OFF the section through the PageLines Meta Settings box in the back end of each page. That would be a rather tedious process for what you are describing, i.e. turning off the section on all pages but one.

    However, PageLines also allows you to add a section to a page template, but elect to have it turned OFF as a default. In this case, you turn the section ON through the PageLines Meta Settings in the back end of each page, as you need it. In the case you describe, that would be only one page.

    Here is how:

    1. Add Boxes to the Page Template: WordPress Dashboard–> PageLines–> Drag & Drop–> Select the “Page Templates” box in the Select Template Area–> Select the Page Template you are using for the Landing Page in the “For Which Type of Page” area –> Drag “Boxes” into “Active Sections” in the Arrange Sections… area. Stay on this page.

    2. Deactivate Boxes by Default: Click on “Options” in the “Boxes” bar you just dragged into the Active Sections box–> Select the “Hide This by Default” box. These steps autosave.

    3. Activate Boxes in the Landing Page: Go the the back end of your Landing Page–> Scroll down to PageLines Meta Settings–> Select “Page Setup” in the left side bar–> Scroll down to the Individual Page Selection Control area–>”Template|[template name]…” box–>Select “Show Boxes”–> Select “Save Meta Settings” button.

    Thank you SO MUCH for this post and the answer. Helped me incredibly after playing around and searching for hours! ??
