Static front page vs. post or pointing issue?

    I have created my website using WP. However I am having trouble changing my front page to a new landing page I recently created. Can someone help me with this? I am not sure if it is a static vs. post page or a pointing problem. When I view my site from dashboard it shows the landing (squeeze)page correctly. However when I visit site from my browser (Google,Bing, etc) it shows previous site information. How do I correct this? I have a page one location on google and I don;t want to lose it.
