Rendering Shortcodes in Text Areas

Hello –
I’m trying to add a shortcode to one of the “Features” (using the Features by WooThemes plugin), but these sections — text areas on the homepage — don’t render shortcodes by default. WooThemes support has confirmed this. The shortcode works fine in main content sections, as expected.

I’m sure there’s a way to have the shortcode run as expected — maybe through add_filter or something. Can anyone help? I’ve already spent a lot of time looking for a solution online, but nothing has worked so far. Thanks!
