Just wonderd if it was possible to have a page (or a new/extra frontpage) where the whole page or frontpage was protected? So that only users with the password could enter?

Because at the moment I’m using a Page I call “Internal” wich is password protected, but to add new stuff to the internal page, i have to edit the page, is there some way I could have it show like on the frontpage? With posts etc.

Hope you understood what I wanted. Not to good to explain.

    Thanks for all help

Edit: Forgot to mention that if I could have posts there, it would be great if users with password would be able to make comments to each post (as you do on normal posts at frontpage), and not to the whole Page, as it is now.

just install another copy of wordpress in a password-protected directory.

That’s what I would do, though I’m sure there are other solutions

    Ok, using htaccess then?

Would be happy if more could come with some other ideas, as installing a new wordpress is, not very, but takes atleast some space on my server. Tho, no problem if thats the easiest or the only way.

    Thanks resiny
