• I’ve been having trouble with the Media Uploader/Manager since 3.5, This is what I get when I try to add media to a post : https://i.stack.imgur.com/OtNUN.png

    Yes I’ve looked at the troubleshooting blog post.
    Yes I’ve deactivated everything.
    Yes I’ve reverted to twentytwelve.
    Yes I’ve reinstalled the core, works for about an hour, idek.
    Yes I’ve Googled everything and tried it.
    Yes I’ve traveled across the milky way searching for the mane of the rare space unicorn in order to brush said mane against my site to get it working again.

    I’m desperate.

    Chrome Console gives me this

    Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token < admin-ajax.php:1

    PHP site error logs spits this at me

    [Thu Feb 14 22:28:28 2013] [error] [client <ip snipped>] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: R863BD5F00CE3701A3E49B189AEAA2798 in /la/la/la/fancy/directories/to-my/website/lol/htdocs/wp-includes/js/tinymce/themes/advanced/skins/o2k7/img/8cd.php(3) : runtime-created function(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code on line 1, referer: https://playstationer.net/wp-admin/post-new.php

    @amg999222:

    There is no “/wp-includes/js/tinymce/themes/advanced/skins/o2k7/img/8cd.php” file in WordPress, which means that your site has likely been hacked and/or had malware put onto it.

    You may want to read this in order to help clean up your site:

    Yep, It was malicious code. Found a good few files containing stuff like this : https://cl.ly/image/0c0H1D0O0V1J

    Funnily enough they have been there for quite some time, only surfaced now. https://cl.ly/image/401b210L3w0k – There was no links posted on anything, or any other changes, and it didn’t affect the site, its as if it just sat there dormant in a TinyMCE 777 folder.

    Anyone know how to crack those files to see what they were up to ?

    Did you figure it out? The upgrade to 3.5.1 has really broken things for me here. All the images are coming up broken.

    @morespinach:

    The problem on my side was that of a provider’s. It would seem that even though I asked, they didn’t update my PHP version…

    Have a look into that.
