Photopress Comment

    Hello,

    I installed the photopress plugin and it is working really okay.
    But now I was wondering how to make it possible that people can leave a comment on a photo in a category?

    As you can see here: https://www.roge.ru/

    There you can also leave a comment on every photo.
    I suppose its a hack or something but how do I get it?

    Yes I hacked photopress. I have change just 2-3 strings. Currently I redesign my site, when I finish I will publish hacked version of photopress if the author will give me such permissions.

    But we have discuss this feature and my hack with the author and every new version is closer and closer to your wish. Leave your comment on author blog, this will help.

    What else do your hacks do, if anything? I love the way your gallery is organised.

    My hack:

    – Do not resize photos if they are smaller or exact size as it set in options (to avoid jpeg recompresion)
    – Sharpening for thumbnails
    – Two sizes for thumbnails. Large one for last shot and small one for random gallery shots
    – Show large image in “single” post. When post is opened.
    – Link to the post from the gallery but not to the photopress album.php
    – Store original images (already included in photopress)
    – Mass resize for thumbnails (already included in photopress)
