• I downloaded and installed the Bad Behavior anti-spam plugin, but once activated, it prevents *me* from accessing any of my pages – all the admin, and the blog itself. I get a 412 error on all pages.

I had to go delete it via FTP because I couldn’t even get to the plugins page to de-activate it.

    Am I doing something wrong?

  • No – your host has settings in place which prevent BB from doing what it does. Unfortunately those same hosts do nothing to protect your blog from the crap the BB protects you from.

    Godaddy is one such host.

At least I know it’s not me ??

What are the settings which are problematic here? I’m sure that my host (run by friends, who also use WP) would be willing to try to change the settings if I can tell them what the problem is.
