Image alt description not working

Hi I am trying to validate my site but I keep getting the following error,

An img element must have an alt attribute

These errors relate to images in the slideshow and despite the fact I have ensured the descriptions have been completed.

Anyone got any suggestions how I can fix this so it passes validation?
