"You may use these HTML tags and attributes" When sharing page

    Before posting this i have done an extensive web search but nothing seems to work for me.

    Whenever i share the page i get the following in the description area

    You may use these HTML tags and attributes:… and so forth

    I have facebook comments enabled and i have tried to add this code to my css but nothing is working

    .form-allowed-tags { display:none; }

    I have been at this for hours

    I don’t see where those tags appear – can you link to a page where they are. Or are they appearing on FB?

    here is a screenshot, best thing i can advise is put one of the pages links into your status bar on facebook like this

    and dont post it but just click outside the box and you’ll know what i mean. I also have a problem with the thumbnails not showing up.

    That’s kinda be out of my league – but is the FB share part of the theme or are you using a plugin?

    share thing is a plugin but i didnt use it, i just pasted the link in my browser

    I’m sorry, but I really don’t know how to help with this – if you’re using a plugin, you should ask on the plugin support forum – on the plugin page, click on the “support” tab. Or if it’s a theme feature, you can do the same on the theme page.

    You could certainly remove those tags from wherever they are in your theme code – but that should only be done in a Child Theme. But that would not solve the thumbnail problem.

    Again, sorry I can’t be of more help – someone may happen along who knows more than I do.

    Yeh it’s definitely nothing to do with the plugin because this seems to be a popular issue on the web with other users. I did try and look for the tags but coulnd’t find them, don’t know if i was looking in the wrong place

    This seems to be working now, dont know why but i’m not having this problem whenever i write new posts. Still have the thumbnail problem though
