    Yesterday I upgraded to WordPress 2.0.1. Ever since I get an error message when I’m trying to post. I hit “publish” and the following error message comes on my screen:

    WordPress database error: [Lost connection to MySQL server during query]
    DELETE FROM wp_postmeta WHERE Post_ID = 267 AND meta_key = ‘sticky’;

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p/r/i/prissychick/html/palmtreeprincess/wp-includes/wp-db.php:102) in /home/content/p/r/i/prissychick/html/palmtreeprincess/wp-admin/post.php on line 59

    Sometimes it says line 121 in that last line. After I get the error message, I can refresh my blog and the post is there, so I just hit the “back” button from the error page and go on with things.

    I just wondered what in the world is wrong and how can I fix this ???/

    Thanks.

    This is just a guess based on the error – do you have the Adhesive plugin installed? (the meta_key=’sticky’ bit is what leads me there) If so, have you upgraded it to 3.2? (If not, go here: https://redalt.com/wiki/Adhesive and get the latest one.)

    From what I understand, there was a bit of an issue with WP 2.0.1 and earlier versions of Adhesive.

    If you’ve done all that, try deactivating Adhesive and see if you still get the same error. If so, I’m out of ideas. If not, then there’s a conflict with Adhesive and something, though I couldn’t say what.

    OK …. I disabled my Adhesive plugin, which I had upgraded, but I hardly ever use it so no big deal. And today I get this error message when trying to post.

    Any ideas now ????????

    I found a thread where a plugin was the solution to others that appear to be having the same issue:
