How can I customise designs of pages and posts in Custom community theme?

    I want the pages and posts to look different from the homepage. In posts and pages, I want to put a different header image, a different background color and a different container color. I have no idea how to do it all. Please guide me, considering the fact that I have no programming knowledge.
