Empty cart = link to store homepage?

    An idea for when the cart menu item is displayed even when there are no items in the cart:

    In this situation with an empty cart there no point having a link to view the cart. So would it be possible to change the link and hover text to take you to the store homepage and say something like ‘start shopping’.

    What do you think?

    Also, could the menu item be added via a shortcode to give more flexibility with regards to position within the menu system?
