Help Moving from wordpress.com to .com

I purchased the domain: https://www.thetomatotree.com from godaddy.
I want a wordpress blog but I want the address to be https://www.thetomatotree.com not https://www.thetomatotree.wordpress.com
I bought the mapping for $13 via wordpress and switched my primary address to thetomatotree.com

However, its has not switched. When I type in https://www.thetomatotree.com I am taken to the godaddy site. What do I do to make sure my blog (through wordpress) will be found at the address: https://www.thetomatotree.com. Right now its still https://www.thetomatotree.wordpress.com Please help!!!
