    getting this error:

    I have tried going into phpMyadmin but that did not work, can anyone help

    Looks like you have some core WordPress files missing.
    Please upload a fresh copy of WordPress along with it’s files, sub-folders etc. (just make sure to exclude wp-content folder).

    It looks like I made some progress the error message now just says ; error establishing a database connection

    Check wp-config.php and see if your database settings are correct.

    Thanks I checked it looks fine to me but I am not really sure what I am looking for I can get into the database fine. Are there lines of code I should be checking? The database name is correct and password is also correct
