Quality of playback

  • Hi,

    I’d like to be able to give the user the option of playing back the video in various different qualities, much like YouTube allows on their videos.

    Is this possible with Hana Flv Player? My preference is to use MediaElements if possible.

    I just can’t figure out how to put that functionality into it or if it’s even possible, so any input would be appreciated.

    Hello

    Yes It appears that MediaElement.js does support SourceChooser plugin.
    But I don’t have plan to implement that feature into Hana FLV plugin because that feature is not supported by other video players. Since my plugin supports several video players, it is important to provide the common functions that are supported by all the players.

    Rather, I am thinking about starting up a new plugin just for MediaElement. I will implement that feature in the new plugin.
