Padding shows under wordpress bar

    The WP Sliding Login/Register Panel is covering part of my website. How can I fix this?
    Edit your templates style.css and add padding-top to the container. (Example: padding-top: 40px;)

    After doing this fix (which worked by the way), whenever I log in, the website shows the padding underneath the wordpress bar. Is there any way to get it so the bar does not cover my header and the padding does not show after I log in?
