    Hi all,

We are using WPTouch on some of our client sites and we like the overall functionality, but there is one issue with the sharing icons below the posts.

    They are really confusing.

The Twitter Icon looks like an Eagle and the Facebook Icon looks like a group of people.
Is this something that can be changed in a future version?

You can even steal the image that I’ve created ??
Feel free to take it ??

    Thanks in advance

This sounds like functionality from either another plugin or your active desktop theme as the description does not sound like the WPtouch sharing icons. As an aside, WPtouch Pro allows you to use any of the 250+ icons included or upload your own when adding your social networks.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.
That is strange. I just reinstalled the plugin and the image comes back.

Anyway, it is not a big deal I’ll just replace the icons as I see fit.

On this very subject, but with a slightly different request….We are using WPtouch (free) is it possible to remove the sharing icons bar shown beneath posts completely?

Or, as a compromise (if it can’t be removed), can we make it work properly? e.g. make the link to Twitter actually connect to the Mobile Twitter main screen – we currently get a Twitter message advising “that page doesn’t exist…etc” and the choice of Shares is wrong for our usage – Del.icio.us / Newsvine etc

Haven’t seen anything within the plugin that allows this to happen so far…

We already use AddThis which works fine on both the desktop view and the mobile view, so we effectively have duplication within the mobile view. Turning it off would be best for us if that’s possible?

    Thanks in advance
