• I have uploaded a number of images that have automatic image links. Either I forgot to indicate NONE for the image link or, in the case of sliders in pagelines, that option wasn’t present in the slide uploader. I don’t see how I can change the image link in the new media library UI. When I go to edit image there is no control for attachment that I can change.

  • Change the image link to what?

    None.

If you are trying to remove the link of an image via the WYSIWYG editor on the post or page edit page then just click on the image and then click the broken image link in the toolbar – it will be next to the link button.

This normally removes the link. If you’re still having issues after this just shout.

Yes, I had discovered that. The issue is that there are places in the pagelines theme where the WYSIWYG editor isn’t available, for example in the slider interface, or what they call a “content box”. For that reason I want to edit the image link in the media library. This used to be an option before 3.5. Is there no way to do that in the new Media Library?

You’d need to contact the theme’s vendors about that.

So, just to be clear, there is no longer a way to edit the image links anywhere in the new Media Library interface. Correct?

You cannot edit links for images that you have already inserted into Pages or Posts, no. But then – there never has been an option to do this.
