• Hi,

    I′m new using www.ads-software.com.
I have buy a multidomain packet at 1&1.com.
I followed every step to install wp in the ftp but at the end of the process I’m having this message (error establishing a database connection) as a result to put this url: lareinapastelera.com/wp-config/install.php.

In my ftp i have a folder named LRP where I installed wp using filezilla.

I ensured that my information about user, password and host is correct after change the wp-config.php whit the correct data even i proved that my database is working.

Could be an error cause I have 3 different domains in the same host?

    When I put https://www.lareinapastelera.com/LRP
It says HTTP Error 404.0 – Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

What can I do? I’m so lost and no idea about where could be the problem.

    Thank you very much

    Yuls

    Hi Yuls
Here’s how I would have set it up:

    Create a folder called lareinapastelera
    Create a subfolder called LRP

Make sure your domain name points to lareinapastelera. Therefore all the files for this website should be in this folder.

Each domain name you own should point to it’s own folder.

Copy all the WordPress files to LRP. Make sure there isn’t a subfolder called WordPress in here.

Now when you go to https://www.lareinapastelera.com/LRP the installation for WordPress should start.

Let us know how you get on.

    Hi Robert,

Just I noticed that i bought a windows multidomain hosting…so the database was MS SQL.
I′m talking with 1&1.com to change the plan.
Anyway thank you so much for your quickly answer.

    Cheers!
