Resize not working in attach window

  • I’m having an issue now as well with using the plugin “Faster Image Insert”. Before this plugin (Resize images before upload) was fixed to work with the new media manager, it worked with the “Faster Image Insert” plugin, but now it works in the new “add media” screen, the main media admin area, but not with the “Faster Image Insert” plugin. Could be related to the above users error.

    Like you say holteas this plugin was fixed to make it work when uploading images from the main media section in the admin and when you add media from within a post/page.

    So as long as you are running the most recent version there shouldn’t be any problems.

    As for working alongside “Faster Image Insert” that plugin doesn’t use the new upload system which the “Resize images before upload” plugin has been updated to run with so unfortunately they aren’t currently compatible. I suppose they never will be because I see no reason for the “Faster image insert” plugin to bother implementing the new uploader.

    Hi.

    I have just updated the plugin and it continues not been able to resize before upload when i create or edit a post (or CPT) and attack an image to it. I’m using wordpress version 3.4.2. I continues to work only on media manager.
