I'm confused between www.ads-software.com and WordPress.com

  • Alright, I just found out that www.ads-software.com and WordPress.com are two different things.

    I understand that WordPress.com is hosted by wordpress itself but I’m wondering, is www.ads-software.com the one where I have to host it myself or can I get someone to host it for me.

    I have a WordPress.com account and I downloaded a theme from WordPress and it wont allow me to upload it to WordPress.com yet, when I downloaded WordPress from www.ads-software.com they gave me a video showing that I can install it ~> https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nb2Cy-UV824#! <~. I’m confused.

    I don’t think im techy enough to host my own site, so If I get BlueHost, will it host my www.ads-software.com site. I still have no finished the installation of www.ads-software.com yet, because I dont have a host, and I cant self host.

    Cant someone lead me in the right direction?

    Yes – via a hosting account and domain name that you need to have pre-arranged/purchased. Perhaps you need to review https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    so If I get BlueHost, will it host my www.ads-software.com site.

    BlueHost and others allow you to sign up with them and register a domain, then use their connected scripts like SimpleScripts to do your WordPress installation and send you the key (login info).
