Cannot Change Password Via Database is there….

    something wrong? I moved a site via the “Duplicator Plugin”…The site appears fine, (at least it loads correctly and looks ok). I tried to change the password several times via My SQL with no luck. I even changed the contact email in the SQL. The only way to login to the site is through the WP-ADMIN with the OLD Password.
    Any thoughts on what could be happening here?

  • The plugin doesn’t modify any user passwords (starting in version 0.4.3 you will be able to add a new account however). If your changing MySQL versions of your server then MySQL could have a difference in how things work, so you will need to double check the MySQL documentation.
