Only Validation Error message appears

  • When the required fields are left blank, I get the Validation Error message to appear. If I fill out the entire form and submit, I don’t get a Success message. I made an upload image required, and did not get a message. No other message is appearing except the Validation Error message. Any ideas why?

    I also tried to put in a Paypal link in the Additional Settings with on_sent_ok:”location=’#’;” but no luck with that either. Don’t know if the two issues are related. I turned off all my other plugins and changed my theme to 2012 but that didn’t help either. I’m stumped. Please help.

    First, restore it. You are misusing it.

    I am having a similar problem.

    I have followed COntact Form 7’s suggestions on how to track submissions with _trackpageview as per their website.

    Since adding in on_sent_ok into additional settings the only validation message I get is the error message. No message to say your message has been sent correctly.

    When I take out the on_sent_ok bit it works fine again…

    Yes, I can confirm that when I take the code out of the additional settings field, the messaging works properly. However I do need a paypal button in there. How can I get the paypal button to show up. I read in another post that there may be some code that needs to be put in the footer?

    I just realized that I am not getting emails sent to me by the form since I took the paypal code out of the additional settings field. I checked my mail server and it is not in spam either.

    Never mind about email not being sent. It appear to be working fine. Would still like advice on how to get paypal working.
