How to debug "W3 Total Cache Error Notification"

  • Hi,

    I’m receving this error even couple of times a day.
    “Unfortunately, an error occurred while creating the minify cache. Please check your settings to ensure your site is working as intended.”

    There are no other visible problems with the system as far as I’m aware of.

    How to follow with this error, where to look for more descriptive comments. How to eventually debug this problem.

  • It hasn’t been working well for a while. I gave up on it. So turn off minify AND empty the cache. Beware that sometimes it breaks the site ONLY for NON logged in users… for this reason it could take a while before you are notified.

    This is what happened in my case. The worst part is that Apache didn’t even log the 500, so I wasnt alerted about it.
