Multiple, unending comment notifications

I just upgraded WordPress tonight, and then got my 1st comment, which then continued to resend to my email with the same timestamp. I tested a 2nd email and the same happened. I deleted it, still coming in. So I turned off the only notification option I had on, Email me whenever anyone posts a comment. Still getting those emails. Made sure that all my email addresses matched exactly. Still get the notifications of those last 2 comment, still with the same time stamp. In fact, the earlier comment sends itself twice, the second one only once. Am getting about one set (that is 3 emails) every minutes.
