Double opt in not working

Hello,
I have a problem with double opt in. When someone subscribes the activation email is not sent any more. Even if I try to manually resend confirmation. Although it was working before. I don’t know why it stopped working as I didn’t change any SMTP settings. And it sends the test email.
Any advice would be great.
