Can't Authorize New Account

I am having problems in authorizing new account. I installed Twitter Widget Pro ver 2.5.3. I have generated the consumer key and secret. But I wanted to try to authorize new account, I found this problem. Every time I try to authorize it doesn’t work. I still receive this message You need to authorize your Twitter accounts.

This was my issue. I hadn’t specified the callback URL in the Twitter app. It was handled in this support post: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/could-not-recognize-the-response-from-twitter.

I’m having the blank screen issue. I entered in my callback URL in the Twitter app and when I click on the “Authorize new account” it takes me to the Authorize App page of Twitter, I click the “Authorize App” button and then am taken back to my site but the page is blank and nothing happens.

I reverted back to Version 2.4.1 and it’s working for me again.

It looks like the original poster got his problem solved. If his solution doesn’t work for you, then your problem is likely different. Please open a new support thread.

Having same issue. Saying I need to authorize my account but when I click on authorize account it goes right back to saying the same thing.

I have entered my consumer key and consumer secret as well as a callback url but nothing.

So aggravating.

Hello, I have updated your plugin and now it not connect to twitter.
Many people have the same problem.

I install the latest version working: 2.4.1
