BLANK HOMEPAGE

Hi there!
just downloaded 2.0.2 and installed it the first time. got the installation done within 5 minutes – now able to login into admin page, change settings, write new entries, view stylesheet/templates and so on. in other words: everything on the admin pages works! however if i just call the home page to see the blog i get an empty page. no error message, no errors produced in my server logfiles. i tried disabling the cache but that didn’t work! and yes, i copied all the files and folders exactly as they were in the distibution archive, permissions seem to be right, all folders are existent. any ideas?
