Image sizes for the slider

    What should the optimum image size be for the slider there are 1000 x 600 at the moment which is a bit big but if I reduce them to 600 x 400 they look grainy. What I want is to have them the correct size for the slider but I cant see any sizes anywhere for it.

  • This completely depends on the dimensions of the photos within the slider.

    Now there are ways around this, but they’re advanced (using PHP-GD). You may even find a plugin for it.

    What would I need to search for please? As wjhen I set my images to 600 x 400 they were crisp and clear but then when I loaded them for the slider they went grainy as if it was boosting them to a larger size.
