I’m running wpsc on a network, and my cache files are stored in wp-content/cache/supercache .

That directory seems to empty itself sometimes as often as once per second, and it never lasts more than a few minutes.

I have garbage collection set at 7200, and I don’t have it set to clear when a post or comment is made.

Where else should I be looking for something to clear the cache? It’s VERY unlikely it’s a person clicking the clear button.

I think I figured it out, but I’m not sure why. I resaved my garbage collection settings and it magically started working, similar in theory to the way you resave permalinks and it fixes things.

    Very odd.

I was wrong before about the issue. As it turns out, the WordPress SEO Plugin by Yoast is set to clear the entire cache for every site on the network every time it checks for an update of itself.

We’ve alerted the WSEOP folks about it and commented out that part of the plugin.
